Privacy Policy
This policy describes the data NexusWatch collects, how that data is used, the third-party services that touch it, and the rights you retain over it. Last updated 2026-05-08.
What we collect
NexusWatch is a static documentation site. We do not require accounts, do not run a contact form on this domain, and do not store user-submitted content on the server. The data we do collect is limited to the following categories:
- Server access logs. Standard request logs containing the requested URL, response code, timestamp, referring URL where present, and a truncated source identifier. Retention: 14 days, rolling.
- Aggregate analytics. Page-view counts, country-level geographic aggregation, and referring source category. We use this data only to measure which records receive sustained research interest.
We do not collect or process names, email addresses, payment data, account credentials, or any category of special data defined under GDPR Article 9.
How the data is used
Server logs are used to detect abuse patterns, debug content delivery issues, and inform decisions about which records require additional verification cycles. Aggregate analytics inform editorial priorities. For example, identifying which lifecycle archive entries continue to receive research traffic after deprecation is operationally useful for prioritising historical attestation reviews.
The collected data is not sold, shared with marketing partners, or used to build cross-site profiles of any kind.
Third-party services
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which receives request metadata as part of its standard CDN operation. Cloudflare's privacy practices are governed by their published privacy policy. No analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts are loaded on any page of this site beyond the standard CDN headers. There are no embedded social-media widgets, no comment systems, and no remote font loaders.
Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and analogous frameworks, you have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, the right to request correction or deletion of that data, and the right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate supervisory authority. Because of how the site is structured (no accounts, no contact forms, no profile records), the categories of data we hold about any individual visitor are unusually narrow, and access requests can typically be answered within a few business days.
Data security
All site traffic is served over TLS. Server logs are stored encrypted at rest and rotated on the retention schedule described above. The systems that maintain the registry's source data are isolated from the public delivery infrastructure.
Privacy contact
For privacy questions, data access requests, or supervisory authority correspondence, see the contact and corrections section on the About page. Privacy-related inquiries are reviewed within five business days, and access requests are answered within the regulatory window applicable to your jurisdiction. The scope of what we publish and why is described in full on the research disclaimer.
Policy updates
Material changes to this policy are recorded with the date of revision in the "Last updated" line at the top of this page. Substantive changes that affect the categories of data collected or the third-party services used are also noted in a revision log maintained alongside the published archive.
